Welcome to Little Loves Sensory and Messy Play. We are a local baby and toddler group in Mirfield offering classes that let our “Little Loves” explore their senses through messy and creative play.
Each session offers various stations of fun, real life play from messy edible painting to exploring everyday objects in various fun ways with water, sand, jelly, you name it! It’s a chance to really let your child explore all their senses and develop their future skills without you having to clean up afterwards (I know right?!)
We offer bookings in 6 week courses, each week different from the last with stations changing week to week so your Littles don’t get bored! Single seasonal sessions are also available to book. Read below for more information!

Nurturing future skills
Sensory and Messy play is extremely important for children’s development. It provides them with an exciting tactile and sensory experience that inspires their curiosity. Not only that but it allows them to explore the world around them, everyday objects, textures and noises. Temperatures, smells and sounds. It enhances their learning, language, creativity and confidence!
Our 6 week course aims to allow your Baby or Toddler to experience all Seven Senses. From listening to the crashes of the ocean waves whilst playing with nautical objects. To seeing the stars of the galaxy whilst their hands and feet squidge in cold goo! Each session is different so your Littles will be wowed each week!
Little Loves Sensory and Messy play allows your Littles to make mess, make friends, have fun and play! And the best part? You don’t need to tidy up afterwards. (I do!)

Session Types
We offer two types of sessions weekly, both are term time only. One is aimed at children from 6 months plus on Wednesdays and Thursdays and our other is Mixed for babies from 6 months of age to school starting age these are run on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
Seasonal sessions such as Halloween,Christmas and Easter will be released across our social media platforms when available to book and are mixed age groups. If you don’t use social media but want to be informed about these please just let me know and I can add you to a mailing list.
Many of our sessions include the first sibling free! At some of our seasonal events older siblings can come along (covid permitting) and they don’t have to be under 5 either, we all secretly love crafting and mess! It is also a lovely way for siblings with a larger age gap to spend some quality time together and interact with their brothers or sisters.
We will be offering Messy Parties in the future so your Littles can celebrate their birthday the messy way and I can even match your theme!

Session Times
Baby (6 Months plus) - Wednesday 10:30am, Thursday 10:30am
Mixed Age (6 Months - School Starting age) - Wednesday 12:45pm, Friday 10:00am
Seasonal/Sibling Class times will be released across our Social media and on our BookWhen site near the end of each term if not before!

Venue Information
Our lovely venue has onsite parking saving you having to find some where to park roadside!
If you’re walking we have plenty of space to park up the prams, bikes, scooters whatever you journeyed in on.
We have disabled access, changing facilities and a quiet area if needed.
During the winter of 2021 our venue will be having a revamp which will benefit you! There will be a brand new disabled toilet and baby change area fitted. But don’t worry the revamp will not affect your sessions!
